We have a wonderful furrier; the donkeys love him, and when donkeys don’t love something, watch out. We spray the Pole Barn with wood chips to tamp down the smell of sheep.

The donkeys get their feet trimmed twice, sometimes three times in a year. They love Matt so much they stand still for him. This is one of those rituals we love; they remind us of why we are here. Matt, our farrier, says Lulu and Fanny are the nicest donkeys he has ever seen.

Maria is half way to stacking the two cords we just got for our wood stoves. This will be all that we need for the winter; she is doing her Meditation while lifting the logs and putting them up and loves it. I certainly married well.

We are getting 30 bales of first-cut hay for the winter, 10 bales of second-cut.
