I sometimes think the Flower Art photos are as old as I am, since they seem to come from a part of me I didn’t really know was there but always wanted to find. The more I took these photos, the more it has deepened for me.
Thanks for the flowers, and thanks to the many good people who have chosen me for writing them.
They felt as old as I am, a part of my waiting for the spirits to let them out. Thanks so much for loving them as I do. My pictures have helped me see the world in a new and different way, and it feels better each day. Maria says it was the artist in me waiting to come out. I don’t have a better answer, and she ought to know.

Great pictures! This series has much meaning. As I look at the colorful melded flowers they speak of great love woven together over time. The crisp white flowers stand up showing their individual autonomy. The series shows that great love and individuality can exist side by side in a strong relationship based on great love. That’s what you and Maria have and it’s wonderful! Happy Birthday Jon! You have accomplished wonderful things!
