This is another Contemplation weekend for me, a regular thing I think. No news, no politics, no devices. It’s foggy, but I’m not going outside again this morning; there are swarms of mosquitoes, and I got bitten scores of times yesterday.

I’ve set aside several hours to plan my life and think about it. I’ll be blogging on and off, taking pictures on and off, and posting on the needs of the Cambridge Food Pantry today. I have come to consider that a sacred duty,  a gift to me as well as others. I’ll also be sharing some thoughts.

These are times when we decide just who we are and who we want to be. Below is a lesson from a food Pantry.

But if you want them to believe you – try to share some of their poverty and see if you can accept it as God’s will yourself.”
