I hear a great deal of talk about change and health care, as I should. But I hear little or nothing about change that might help to save our planet and the miracle of nature, which is in danger everywhere. It’s odd to me. We can live without so many politicians, and without so many billionnaires, but we can’t live without so many animals, plants, water, and food. Head, flood, and fire can’t get people health care; only people can, but if Mother Earth isn’t cared for, nothing can really save us or make it possible to live safely.
I can’t help but think that in our blinded world, as I prepare to spend the rest of my life in nature, I see its miracles every day.
In my Contemplation, I had to think about whether human beings are really cut out to love on this earth and fight for it. Our children deserve to live without floods, devastating heat, and fire that can’t be stopped. We have lost our way to greed. If we don’t care about here, she can’t care about us.
We live in such an upside-down way, arguing and hurting the people we should help, ignoring the things we should fear.
We fail every one of them unless we try harder. I wonder why it is not in the news when hatred, violence, and ignorance are. Time to take some flower photos.
