As of the latest tracking (through this summer), at least 1 million children have lost SNAP benefits nationally — that’s from 19 states that report child-specific data, so the true number is likely higher; one conservative national estimate puts it above 1.5  million Overall, more than 4 million people total have dropped off SNAP since July 2025, with enrollment falling from about 42 million to 37 million.

This is what’s at stake. Keep an eye on the Wish Lists if you can.

This is shaping up to be the most challenging week ever for the Cambridge Food Pantry. Their food bank has warned them that supplies are coming in much smaller amounts. We are slowly but surely stacking the shelves, and thank you. There are not enough words to show gratitude for what the Army of Good is doing.

The Diapers have arrived in big red boxes (see photo), and Sarah says they are stacked, her highest praise. She says a lot of cereal has arrived also. She is especially grateful.
