“B” is working fast and thoroughly these days. He said he’d love to do more work, and he offered to help rake up the many leaves pouring out from our trees. We were delighted. Plenty of work needs doing around the farm. His brushing is thorough and careful; the donkeys love him (the chickens below are fascinated by him), and he is skilled and enthusiastic about cleaning up the chicken roost. Zip wants in on the action, of course.

Next week, the workload increases. “B” is a great worker.

The hens insist on watching “B” carefully. Maybe I’ll suggest showing him how to feed them. “B” is a gift.
