Many thanks for your support over the weekend; you did more than anyone imagined, and we are all grateful. Sarah has been trying to get Tomato items for months, and you got them back on the shelves in days. She has also struggled to get jars of Smooth Peanut Butter. They are also stocked and removed from the Wish List. Thank you, thank you. You are speaking out for religion, faith, kindness, and love.

We are about so much more than money.
Today, on this blog, I want to thank you for your wonderful donations and for doing good; you can also find them through the Cambridge Pantry Wish List.
These are rough days for the food Pantry, but we are keeping the best foods coming. We get a lot of requests; tomatoes are a big one. So is Ravioli. Everyone wants them, and the Pantry can’t afford to buy any.
The Food Bank can no longer provide them with many items, and the shelves are frequently empty.
Last week began as one of the worst weeks in Pantry history; it has emerged as one of the most meaningful and hopeful times, thanks mostly to good people. The Army of Good has been nothing less than heroic.
There are no simple days now and no easy ones.
So far, we have provided every item we have been asked to stock. This is a small but wonderful miracle, an assertion of good hearts and empathy. This is the true heart of Americans.
They are slowly but surely stocking the shelves every few days, and thank you. Local farmers and gardeners are helping. But the gap is with canned tomato products.
You bring hope and compassion to this Pantry, this community, and people across the country. There are not enough words to show gratitude for what the Army of Good is doing. The Pantry volunteers are amazing. The two groups are working beautifully together.
Sarah is doing a wonderful job keeping the Pantry serving its customers as best she can.
Check out the Amazon Pantry Wish List if you can. They need everything on it.
