The first loads from the Bishop Gibbons Art Wish List for Sue Silverstain came in yesterday, just one day after the Wish List sold out in just a few hours, as usual.
Thanks so much for your support. We’ll do it again when Sue runs out.
The wish list included 21 items and supplies to help Sue’s eager students get started creating throughout the semester. Thanks so much; no one deserves this more than Sue Gilligan and her very fortunate, fired-up, creative art students. They do great work.

Kathy and Joe, with gifts for the class.

In addition, I have to mention angels like Kathy and Joe Kelly, and others who bring the students gifts and tools throughout the year. Thanks, Kelly; you are a tremendous and loyal friend to the idea of art education. She never needs to be asked. The students are greatful to them, an oasis of good in the midst of turbulence and anxiety. Thanks.

P.S. Sue’s great column, News From The Art School, will resume here on the blog every Friday. We are thrilled to have her here again.
As I write this, the Smithers family just dropped off an entire set of China on Mundi Smothers behalf. Sue has a magic that draws kind people. The kids will make beautiful things with that gift.
