I have to admit, I love the sound of Maria and our friend “B” laughing and smiling together while they do the afternoon chores.
We have a real connection with this very nice and soft-spoken man.
It’s as if he’s been coming here for years, and I think Lulu has fallen completely in love with him; she demands brushing, scratching, and ear-rubbing.
This week’s book for “B” was a Cat Story, a graphic novel.”B” is an avid reader, and I am an avid book giver. He loves cats.
He also loves to work and help, and Maria appreciates that. She rarely gets help, but she likes working with him, and he likes to work.
He’s offered to come and help with the leaf brushing, soon to cover the ground.
