Sarah says the Pantry is out of all the items she is seeking help getting, and many more:
Ravioli, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Canned Carrots. We also have many more visitors coming to the Pantry.
We do have some Cereal coming in, but we need to focus on other new items we don’t have. Sarah says they don’t have enough cereal yet; it might be on the way. Amazon is pretty busy. Honey Bunches of Oats have been removed from the Wish List; Amazon is out of stock. The toothpaste shelf is now stocked, thanks. Many are emptying.
Sustained High Demand: Demand at community food pantries remains elevated. Ongoing grocery inflation and rising overall living costs (housing, utilities) mean that many working families, seniors, and fixed-income individuals are turning to local pantries to bridge the monthly gap. It feels like a crisis to me.
