“Diane, A longtime reader messaged me this morning and asked this: ‘I admit to being surprised that someone your age – 79, I believe – is out in the chill and the heat to take these wonderful photos of life on your farm. I turn to this every day to see your flowers and feel better. My husband is 79, and he would never walk outside in the morning. Why do you do it, and for free? I hope you’re not offended...”

Diane, thanks for the message. There is nothing offensive about it; it’s a fair question. Most of my friends my age are gone. The answer is simple. I do it because people tell me they need it. And I need to be needed…It’s selfish in a way. Hi to your husband. – Jon

Marching to breakfast. They don’t rush, they know they’ll get enough to eat.
Apples for the animals; we have enough for apple desserts.
Another daily event. Yes, she smiles while doing it.
Zip loves the camera.
A beautiful sky.

Jon, you may call it selfish. I call it a win/win. All that feeling good flows in a circular motion between two people and the energetic vibration between them becomes very high.
Your wonderful photos raise my/our energy levels every morning. A world of good as you like to say. Thank you as always.
More beautiful photos! Maria is beautiful! I grew up on a farm and miss the livestock and taking care of them. Your photos of your life on your farm bring back so many memories of my childhood. Thank you!
Thank you Andrea
