Jesus Christ: “Since ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me: (Mathew 25:40).

_______

I’m not especially or conventionally religious, but I have always been inspired and guided by the teachings and life of Jesus Christ. He seems to me to have been forgotten by many Christians in our country. I remember him. I think of this on Sunday, which I was taught is a religious day for those of faith. Sunday reminds me to love others as much or more than I love myself. It’s easier said than done, but the Cambridge Food Pantry inspires me to try to help every day, Sunday included. Please help if you can. The items below are popular, and the Pantry is out of them and doesn’t have the funds to buy more right now. Neither does the Food Bank. Maybe we can help.

_________

The two items requested by the Cambridge Food Pantry for this weekend, Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27:

Campbell’s Chicken Pot Pie Soup (Pack of 8), $17.20.

Spaghetti and Meatballs (Pack of 4), $4.29.

These are anchor foods for the Pantry families’ Hot Meals on Cold Days.

____

Sundays are a special day to think of others and care for those in need. Thanks for considering it. Given the rising costs of oil, food, and other necessities, pantry customers can’t afford to buy them either.
