I drive by the old barn in White Creek several times a week, it’s on the way to Bennington, Vt., where I often go to shop or see doctors. The barn seems to sag more each time I see it, I thought it was time to capture it before it topples over, as old barns do.
Old barns never really die, they just collapse or fall in on themselves and rot away. This one has a grace and beauty to it, even as it begins it’s death spiral.
