Fate In Her Dimension

Fate In Her Dimension

I pitied my camera yesterday. I put my 35 mm lens on the monochrome and set it to auto-focus. I looked up and Fate was whizzing by, she has been clocked at 50 mph when she gets going, her front legs pulling, her long rear legs pushing. I wanted to  capture the sense of her great speed. The camera wisely focused on her, and blurred the background, the farmhouse and the back yard. The camera figured out what I wanted to do and did it for me.

A kind of benign artificial intelligence I think. I love this shot. Fate in her dimension.
