The last of the sheep, including Bartleby, were rounded up in the barn and moved to Darryl Kuehne’s trailer for the trip back to Vermont. Darryl said he’d like to bring them back next Spring, and that’s fine with us. The donkeys are remaining. I’ll miss the sheep, but no much. I have four dogs, two donkeys, two barn cats. A lot of animals, seems to me. Rose will chase the ATV, play frisbee and rest up.

Fall, cont.

Milk pick-up
October 2, 2010- Beautiful day. Heading to Christine Nemec and Redux to see proofs of the new Judy notecard series and sign the Autumn notecards, now in and ready for sale (802 867-4211). Will take some photos. Darry Kuehne is coming to pick up the sheep and take Bartleby back to Vermont. Went to say goodbye this morning. Will put up some photos later.
The photo is of Ed Rouse talking to the Agri-Mark milk pick-up driver, as he does every morning. The two talk about the storm raging outside. First time I’ve seen Ed relax in some hours.
