We moved the Bedlam Farm birdbath to the New Bedlam Farm today. The move felt very real. I love that birdbath and is something I photograph all of the time and means a lot to me. I was struck by Rocky moving quickly through the photo. Got cable this morning. wow.

Bottom Layer: My Office. Crowning Glory
I woke up at 3 a.m, my mind racing with appointments, taxes, bills, royalty checks, phone calls, fences, wallpaper and then late this morning I went to the New Bedlam Farm and began tearing wallpaper off the wall of my study, and I came to this bottom layer, this beautiful and gorgeous art on the walls, and I thought, this is who I am, this is what I am, a seeker of images and thoughts, a hunter of glory, not a fearful thing worrying about his bills. And I got this message in the mail from Ba-Boom: “Of all the joys on earth, few compare to the crowning glory of achieving against the odds, succeeding in the face of peril, or triumphing over adversity.”
So the wallpaper is coming off my office as well. We are going at it tonight. Tomorrow, we paint the living room.
Video: Meditation: Red In A Storm
Yesterday, a storm rolled in over the pasture, and I felt some melancholy, some sense of goodbye. It felt like a meditation to me, so I took Red and the video camera up into the pasture and we herded the sheep as the wind rose and thunder mumbled. I just was drawn to it, a spiritual time with this remarkable dog. I wanted to share it with you, those who have shared this amazing experience of Bedlam Farm with me. I love working with Red, I trust him, he leads me, calms me, teaches me.
Come and see.
