Dog day at Bedlam Farm. Red and I are going to do our therapy work at the veteran’s home, Lenore has a hotspot on her head and has to go to the vet, and then Red is going to get his first acupuncture treatment at the Cambridge Valley Veterinary Clinic.
I’m interested in exploring acupuncture with Red, I have a very general idea about it, which is that border collies are high energy, high-stress animals, and I’m curious as to whether acupuncture can help ground and calm him, as many border collies need. Dr. Colleen Flaherty is going to do the acupuncture and I will be taking photos and writing about it.
This is Lenore’s first ever hotspot, I suspect it happened during all of the rain and humidity last week. Life with a Lab.
