Team Herding

I told Red and Fate to lie down and stay, and I knew Red would, I was a bit surprised that Fate did as well. They look good together, out in the grass, keeping an eye on their sheep.  Fate is changing this week, she is calming down, she is more responsive, less excited, more focused on her herding work. She has that puppy gleam in her eye, but more and more, she looks like a dog. She loves people in the same way Red does, which is a nice thing to see. She is submissive around other dogs, not around the sheep.

Cagey Fate

Fate is becoming a herding dog, but she is still a puppy, and she still has fun out in the pasture. When we come in, she likes to get cagey and hide in the grass and then pop out to try and startle Red and the sheep. She does startle the sheep, but Red pays her no mind.
