Well…Not Sure What To say
by Jon Katz
Pamela Rickenbach of Blue Star Equiculture came to Bedlam Farm today with two big beautiful white draft horses (they will be here Sunday as well). Maria brought Piper over to the gate to meet Chloe, who handled it well. The donkeys vanished for several hours and Fate barked at them, then tried to herd them. She got leashed.
The horses are mystical, breathtakingly beautiful and evocative. The Open House is successful beyond our expectations, it was a beautiful day with the most wonderful and loving and interesting people. More to come.
Ed Gulley’s artistic creations have gotten into my head. This one is called “Speedy Owl” and is made from airline engine parts. Part of the art show at the open house.
Red and Fate are ready to herd the sheep, they love Open Houses. They are hanging out at the gate.
Maria asked people coming to the Open House to make their own intuition dolls – she is selling some of hers – and we have been getting packages from everywhere. We are devoting the barn wall to them, it’s called the “Intuition Wall.” Really imaginative things.
