There is only one living thing we have encountered that Fate truly fears. That is Flo, our imperious and affectionate barn cat. At least three times now, Fate has stalked Flo and approached her too close, and gotten a swipe on her nose for her troubles. Yesterday she tried to stalk and/or herd Flo, and got a good eye right back. Fate backed off, circled around, ran between my legs, stuck her head out and tried to stare back.
No dice, Flo is not the least bit afraid of her.
