April 17, 2009 – Libraries are getting massacred by a country that has many warped priorities. Support your local library if you can.   The SSPL is a great library and library budgets are being slashed everywhere. In a year or so,
or even less, Wall Street people will be making money again, but if libraries are cut back much farther, the country will be damaged for much longer and in much more meaningful ways.
