Just about every morning, from now on, I take the border collies out sheepherding. I am going to launch a sustained effort with Izzy, and work with him every day. He has a lot of instinct, but has not had regular work with sheep. We had a good lesson today. While Lenore chased the ball and ignored the sheep, Izzy was pretty keen and moved them  back and forth. He circles, and doesn’t wear yet, but he is getting there. I think he has a lot of instinct. In any case, he has a lot of fun.
