I took this photo of one of John Clark’s cows on the last day his dairy farm was operating. I want to do something with these photos, and my idea is to show them at Gardenworks when I appear there on Labor Day to talk about “Soul Of A Dog.” Mary Kellogg will be there also, reading her poems, and Maria Heinrich will be showing some of her quilts. She has an amazingly colorful and striking new quilt, but she won’t let me take a photo of it yet.
