Rose has not lost her herding skills, but I am pretty rusty, so every morning, we are taking the sheep out, bringing them into the pen, getting our commands and skills honed. As usual, she is teaching me. Four of the sheep are not dog broke, so that’s still a bit bumpy, but it is coming together. Tomorrow, we are going to Merck Forest in Rupert, Vt. to work with the lambs and ewes there, around 2 p.m. The public is welcome, as usual.
