My wish to the good people reading this is that they get to tell their story. I woke up at 3 amidst some awful nightmares and when I got out of bed, I went to the computer and worked on the edits for the grieving book. Then I took this photo. It is my way of fighting back. I hope that people get to tell their stories. I am thinking about teaching another story-telling workshop, this one at the Clifton Park, N.Y. (Halfmoon) Library this winter. I believe in stories. They have saved my life. In the blackest holes, I climb out to write, take a photo, tell a story.

Everybody has a story – a poem, painting, book, or photograph, and each one has a story. Tell it.
