Smile. The Bedlam Farm Barn Fairy appeared out of the mist, kissed the donkeys on the nose, played with Lenore, turned a smile on me, and the sun came out and reminded me to make my own news, love my wife, my friends, my dogs and donkeys – and to make a lot of noise for the libraries we love and need in our world –  and try and be of some service to the earth.

Then she flapped her wings and floated away.
