Lenore is ready for the two-day snow and ice storm roaring in from the Midwest. We are told to prepare for 20 inches. Ah, am I still thinking Spring? Will run out in the morning to get a heated water bucket and stick the donkeys in the barn for two days. I might join them.

Well, the roads ought to be cleared by February 10 when the exciting art experiment “Gallery 99” kicks off in Glens Falls. A whole bunch of artists, including Maria and I, will be selling our work for less than $99. I will be giving a talk on “creativity and change,” and offering framed photos, 8 x 10’s and notecards, and Maria will be selling potholders and quilts.

A score of other artists will be selling paintings and prints and other art, all for less than $99. The first Gallery 99 show will be held at the Empire State Theatre on South Street in Glens Falls.  After that, the gallery will move to different locations around Glens Falls.
