They are wicked clever.

They love to go where you don’t want them to go.

And come back only if you can persuade them you don’t want them to.

They are loyal and demanding.

They are willful and stubborn.

They do not obey, ever.

Unless they wish to.

They can be profoundly spiritual.

And calm.

They can look right through you and help you heal, and find the peaceful place inside of you.

They ought not to be forgotten.
