I’m getting back into the video spirit, the winter somehow discourages me from videos. Spring is breaking out at the farm in several ways – we found where the hens are laying eggs, deep in the barn – and the donkeys braying seems especially lusty. The grass is beginning to come up, and soon we will not have to bring hay out to the animals. We are opening up another pasture. In a couple of weeks, we will till the new garden, and it will surround the farmhouse. I am surprisingly excited about that, but I seem to be passionate these days about color and light. I’ll be doing videos much more frequently now, my head is back into it.

Anyway, I took the camera out with Red and Maria to do the afternoon chores and got a potpourri video, about nothing really more than the wonderful animals on the farm. Simon braying, Red herding,  chickens laying, the new garden, Flo, Zelda vigilant while eating hay. Come and celebrate the spirit of Spring with us. I am always working to expand the platform by which I reach my readers. My You Tube videos are now drawing an average of 4,000 views. My Facebook followers now top 10,400. I am pleased to see the blog grow and expand, and I am happy to keep in free, thanks in part to your contributions. With the videos, I can add another dimension to my stories. It is an exciting time to be a writer. Come and see.
