When Angels Sing: Maria’s Cactus

Maria and I stopped at a couple of nurseries over the weekend to prepare for our major bring-color-to-the-farmhouse initiative this Spring. Maria loves the Southwest and she loves cactus plants so I had the idea of buying her a small cactus garden. She assembled the plants, arranged them and found a pot for them. She planted them very lovingly. I was surprised by them. They simply radiate light and hopefully, love, they seem almost like radioactive seeds of imagination.

When I look at the sun hitting these plants, I hear angels sing. I think it’s a choice, you either hear the angels sing or you don’t.
