Minnie’s Journal: Getting Stronger

Minnie In The Sun

Minnie has established her routine outside. She has hiding spots in the barn, the woodshed, behind Maria’s studio. She comes out onto the grass to soak up the sun and prowls around the garden, perhaps looking for mice. She is still moving awkwardly on her three legs, although she is now able to jump up on hay bales and rocking chairs. She is still guarded and wary, but has no problem stealing Frieda’s bed, a brave thing to do.

Minnie has unnerved Frieda, she doesn’t seem to know what to do with her, she stands over her bed and whines and Minnie just yawns at her. We are still letting Minnie in at night if she wants to come in, I suspect she likes cuddling with Maria more than anything else. I’d like to see her moving more fluidly.
