We walk by this abandoned “Posted” sign (for hunters) every morning, and we both notice how the sun casts shadows on the leaves and the sign. The leaves are gone now, and Maria got the idea to sketch them with pencil and brush, so she went back and painted the leaves, so they will be there all winter to see. Life with an artist.
