We got home from Iowa this evening, we hauled the bags in and went to check on the animals, Lulu and Fanny had clearly been giving themselves a dust bath, clouds of dirt came off them when Maria grabbed a brush to clean them off. I think donkeys love to bug people, they are always happy to come and rub against us covered in dust, manure and buds from trees. They love to get dirty, they love to be groomed. A good way for us to come home and re-connect to the farm.
