We looked at the weather last night and saw that the temperature would be in the low 20’s last night, and we went outside with a scissors and a flashlight and rescue an armful of Dahlia’s and their wondrous texture and color. This morning, when I let the dogs out, the flowers were all stiff and frozen, the first hard frost of the new season. This means the grass will also die and it’s time to start giving the pony, sheep and donkeys grass. Turning points.
