We looked at the weather last night and saw that the temperature would be in the low 20’s last night, and we went outside with a scissors and a flashlight and rescue an armful of Dahlia’s and their wondrous texture and color. This morning, when I let the dogs out, the flowers were all stiff and frozen, the first hard frost of the new season.
