Creativity is an organic thing, I think, the artist and the writer are always hungry for new ideas, new images. In normal life, impulses are suppressed or sometimes ridiculed, or they don’t fit into the curriculum and prejudices of popular culture, parents or schools. But the artist has to listen to his or her heart, and so yesterday, Maria plunged into the world of ancient art, and saw it in a new and different way. I am certain this will emerge in different ways in her work, we have learned to nourish and follow our impulses, they often lead to new and magical places.

You never know where they will go.
