The winter pasture is finally here, layers of snow and ice cover the ground, which has frozen, perhaps until May. No turning back from winter now, we are hungry for color and light. And there is some, even at sunrise, the sun peeking up over the hill, about to wash out the blue sky, the sheep moving to the feeder, the dogs moving to the sheep. Softer colors, softer light, but with its own beauty.
