Woman And Dog

Woman And Dog

I’ve written a lot about Fate’s exuberant and individualistic nature, but not as much about her sweetness. She and I have a blast, but she is much more Maria’s dog than mine, as we intended. Fate is a very loving creature, she shows affection by pressing her head against a face, her equivalent of hugging. Her eyes narrow, her ears go back and she sits still.

These are very connected now. Fate spends the days in Maria’s studio, she has learned to stay away from the fabric and quilts and doze in her crate or chew bones. Maria takes her with her everywhere she goes, as I take Red. There is never just one way to get a dog, the best way is the path to love and connection. I believe strongly in getting the dog that is best for you, not that makes other people feel good. It has always worked out beautifully for me and thanks once more time and always go to Karen Thompson, the wonderful and mystical breeder of great dogs.
