It was close to 100 degrees today, and extraordinarily humid, it felt as if I was taking a bath when I went outside. Severe thunderstorms were predicted, and a few minutes ago, I saw a dark storm approaching, I could see the winds and rain just down the road. I went out to the apple tree with my IR camera, and caught the storm just as it broke, as the wind howled, and rain came down in a deluge and lightning began to light up the sky.

I then took the IR image and turned it into a black and white photograph and I think I have found the kind of photo I wish to take with this new camera, dramatic pictures that capture the elements in a particular way, and as they reveal themselves.
