I see that small dogs have no idea that they are small. Last week, Fate was stealing Gus’s toys and treats. This week, Gus has come of age and is challenging Fate to play. Fate is suddenly quite affectionate to Gus, she seems to realize that he is a dog, and that playing with him is great fun. They were at it for hours today.

I’m happy to see Fate with such a spirited and confident playmate. She is very gentle with him, and he makes sure he has a chair to run under or human feet to hide behind otherwise, he is a happy terror.
