Donkeys and dogs work well together, once they get to know one another. Lulu and Fanny pay no mind to Fate and Red, they mingle with each other all the time, and sometimes the dogs in their work run right through the donkey’s legs. There is no tension or friction between them, Luly and Fanny took awhile to get easy with Red, they loved Fate right away, and they have completely accepted Gus.

This shot captured the feeling on the farm, the dogs are keeping the sheeps in the barn (that is, Red is) and the donkeys just stand by.
