It was almost too cold to breathe out in the pasture, but we were feeding the sheep and Maria ran down to the bottom of the hill, Gus and Fate in hot pursuit – Red was busy working. Then she said “run to the sheep!” a command we have for Fate, and Fate and Gus took off through the deep snow and  ran around and around.

They had a blast, so did we, and if you can have fun out there in this cold, you can have fun anywhere. Gus may have a serious illness, but he doesn’t seem to know it.
