Lulu and Maria had yet another meeting of the minds out in the far pasture this afternoon, they exchanged emotions private and quietly, the bonds between people and animals are often a wonderful thing to see. Lulu is a bit standoffish with some people, but she loves to have head to heads with Maria.
this photo makes me miss my donkeys so much. Due to family issues (parents end of life) I had to give them up……. and I do miss them. My favorite thing was when I would go out early, on very still mornings to feed……and my favorite *Emily* would come up behind me and rest her head lovingly on my shoulder……and STAY there for minutes on end. It brings me to tears sometimes to see the love and connection Maria has with Lulu and Fanny…….. I love seeing it
