Protecting Red: Turn On The Radio

Another Wednesday, another broadcast of “Talking To Animals” on WBTNAM1370.

I think we are beginning to achieve the impossible. We are using a broke, outdated community radio station in Bennington, Vt. as a launching pad for a new kind of talk show about animals, one that is hopefully intelligent, informative and civil.

But we have a long way to go, this is not supposed to be possible in modern-day media.

I thought it an impossible task at first in the age of Corporate Media, but now I think it’s a long shot, but possible. If only we can get the phones working and get some more calls, and then we will have it.

So let’s try it again today, I’m stubborn and determined. The show is on today, Wednesday, from one to three p.m. Today I want to talk about dog dreams and animal consciousness.

You can e-mail me your comments and questions any time, including during the show: [email protected].

You can call me during the show, the phones are working: 802 442 1010, or 866 406 9286.

You can live stream the show here.

You can use a free radio app like Simple Radio and listen from anywhere in the Hi-Fi world.

You can listen to a podcast at WBTNAM.US

You can hear a re-play of the show every Wednesday night, 8 to 10 p.m.

I love the calls we are getting when they get through, thoughtful interesting, useful.

Maria joins us in the second hour, she’ll talk about Dog Dreams with me, she has researched the subject.

Let’s do it, I know many of you have been trying to get through, and I thank you. Let’s do it, we’ll figure it out while I still have a voice. I should say I love doing the show, I want to make it work, but not if I am talking to myself.

From my e-mail, I’m seeing there are a lot of you out there listening. Jump on in, it’s your show too.
