I love seeing Maria communing with her beloved donkeys. Here at Bedlam Farm, we talk to animals all the time, it sometimes feels as if our life with them is one running dialogue. Maria sits near them, they come up to her, and they just talk to each other, they share thoughts and feelings in the way of donkeys, among the most sensitive and spiritual creatures on the earth.

Maria mostly shares feelings and images, it’s a two-way conversation, calming grounding and quite beautiful. I never tire of taking this photo. The farm is our church, our cathedral, I think, we have services there all the time.
