I like to say that Bud is so ugly that he is beautiful, and I think that is so. He has a distinctive mud that is not considered classic canine beauty. He loves to be scratched on the head and nose, so I give him a “Scrunchy Face” and he loves it, sometimes he falls asleep, right in my hands.

I was lying down this afternoon, resting my leg (fall and tendonitis) when he hopped up and put his paw on my hand, his signal for attention.

In that position, I can scratch his nose and his forehead simultaneously. He loves that.
