Maria’s Coronavirus Housewife Magnets are on sale on her Etsy Page this morning, they cost $7 each plus $1 shipping for one or more magnets.

They were originally created for her ongoing CoronaKimono, her daily record in thread drawings of life during the Pandemic.

Lots of women wrote her to say the lockdowns and school closings were making them into housewives again, so that’s what the magnets say: “The Coronavirus is making women into housewives again.”

Because men still make more money than women, many women have had to curtail their work to homes school or take care of their children.

The magnets, which are 5″ tall (larger than usual) struck a nerve.
