I bought these beautiful flowers at the Farmer’s Market for Maria, and she gave them to me and put them in my study.
We are nearing the season of color and light, a few weeks till Fall, and the flowers will be gone soon. So will the florist at the Farmer’s Market I love taking photos of color and light and will miss that.
But I also have come to love the stark beauty of the winter, seen a particular way, winter can be so beautiful. But not as warm as this jar stuffed with flowers and sitting the wind of my study.
You have a keen eye for color and placement in nature. Your photos are beautiful!

I agree with all of the above comments! I was struck with the beauty as I slowly scrolled down the page, opening up the complete picture. EVERYthing in this picture says, “Look at me! I’m a petal! Look at me I’m a leaf!) Carry on, Jon! You certainly have photographic talent (and for words, too).
