Four Bags Of Sweaters

by Jon Katz

The Thanksgiving Do Good Project continues. I went to see Bev and Tanya at Carroll’s Trading Post. Six or seven of the Mansion residents need sweaters, I was told.

Bev and I went through the racks, and we fought six or seven; I’ll bring them to the Mansion tomorrow. They were nice, soft, and thick and, like everything at the Trading Post, were clean and looked almost new.

They filled four big bags.

We’re delivering a Thanksgiving lunch to the Mansion from Jean’s Place on Wednesday, December 25, the day before Thanksgiving.

With these sweaters, I believe that everyone in the Mansion has what they need for the winter except perhaps for shoes and flannel blankets. I’ll check on that this week.
