The Wake Up Squad nailed me this morning. I was in the middle of a sweet dream, I was walking in the woods, and then I dreamt that some animals were chasing me and jumping all over me.
And that was true and I woke up, Fate leading the charge, Zinnia landing with some oomph, Bud showering me with licks.
Good morning. Getting ready to head out this afternoon for Vermont and some quiet days reading, sleeping, eating, talking. Counting my blessings, they come and go.
We have a wonderful farm caretaker who loves our dogs and has taken care of farm animals as well. We are ready. This morning I hope to go and get my car back from the auto body shop. Next week I get my second vaccine shot.
The year waits for me. What will I make of it?

They don’t look so tough now while sitting on your cushy comforter. In fact, they look very sweet and submissive with their ears laid back … definitely not the same three hooligans at the top of the stairs.
