Well, Bless You All… You Never Fail To Come Through

by Jon Katz

I have to say God Bless all of you; you never fail me, the Mansion residents, the refugee children, the Army Of Good, or the human race. You keep hope alive, keep families fed, keep the elderly warm and laughing and engaged.

You are warriors in the struggle for a kinder, gentler, and more compassionate nation.

I asked for some Wal-Mart Gift Cards a few days ago, which came to Bedlam Farm today. How do I thank you? I always think, well, maybe they’ll get bored one day, or tired one day, or pissed off and selfish like half of the country, but you never do, you lift all of us, keep us caring.

The Wal-Mart gift cards are a better idea for doing good, along with the Amazon Wish Lists. They go directly to the people who need them, they can buy the food, clothing, or toiletries they choose and want and need. Wal-Mart sells all of those things, shoes, and socks too.

And we can skip the bureaucracy and administration that blocks so much doing of good.

Thank you so much. For anyone who wishes to buy Wal-Mart gift cards to help the Mansion aides (and this week, two very hungry migrant farmworkers in Argyle, N.Y.) in need,  and the Bishop Maginn High School refugees and their families, you can purchase gift cards here in any amount, because they can’t be sent to post office boxes, they need to be sent to me:

If you prefer, you can donate directly to me, Jon Katz, P.O. Box 205, Cambridge, N.Y., 12816 via Paypal, [email protected], Venmo, [email protected], or check, Jon Katz, P.O. Box 205, Cambridge, N.Y.,12816.

I am awed and humbled by your trusting hearts and great love.
